Terms of Service

Please read these terms. They explain how the service works, how credits and payments work, and what we both expect.

1. Who this agreement is with

These Terms are between you and LessonForged, operated from Douala, Cameroon (support@lessonforged.com). By creating an account or using the app you accept them.

2. What LessonForged is

A web app that helps teachers turn a topic, document or photo into lessons, slides, notes with diagrams, exams, interactive simulations and AI presenter videos, using AI. Generated content is a starting point: review it before you teach from it. We do not guarantee it is error-free or matches every syllabus perfectly.

3. Accounts

Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us quickly if you think your account was accessed by someone else. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be 13 or older.

4. Plans, Forge Credits and payment

There is a Free plan and paid plans billed in XAF through Fapshi (MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money). Each plan includes a monthly allowance of Forge Credits, spent on actions such as lessons, exams, images, voice, simulations and videos. You can also buy extra credit packs. Credits are not money, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and monthly plan credits do not carry over. Credits you purchase in a pack stay on your account while it is active. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the Pricing and Billing pages and may change for future periods. See the Refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use LessonForged for unlawful, harassing or infringing content, do not try to bypass credit limits, security or rate limits, do not probe or attack the service, and do not resell access. Details in the Acceptable use policy.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload or write. You allow us to process it, including sending it to our AI provider, only to deliver the result you asked for. You must have the right to upload it. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy policy.

7. AI-generated content

Notes, questions, diagrams, images, simulations and videos are produced by AI and may contain mistakes or not match your exact exam board. Check them before use. You may use what you generate for your teaching.

8. Service availability

We work to keep LessonForged available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Features that depend on providers (AI, payments, video) may pause when those providers have problems.

9. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or close an account for breaking these Terms, fraud or abuse. You can stop using LessonForged at any time and ask us to delete your account.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, LessonForged is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including from relying on AI-generated content. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app means you accept the update.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon, and disputes are handled by the competent courts of Douala, unless the law of your country gives you stronger rights.
